The only feed for sheep was the left over hay from the last season. And that was disappearing fast thanks to the hords of grasshoppers and kangaroos that visited from the neighbouring National Park. Not much of a life for the sheep or farmer.
A fellow Sydnite, eh? I know what you mean about having our fair share of rain lately. But even Warragamba Dam isn't getting all that much rain and is still getting lower. Australia is such an amazing but confusing continent.
